Branches remain closed but now accepting Click & Collect, Phone & Collect and Pre-Paid Deliveries.
We will be re-opening our Greenock Branch on Wednesday (22nd April) at 8:00an for deliveries and pre-arranged collections only. We fall within the UK and Scottish Government's list of businesses which are permitted to remain open and will be operating with strict controlled measures in place to comply with the Government's social distancing measures. Please note that for the continued protection of customers and staff there will be no access to our showroom at this time.
We kindly ask that customers do not visit the branch without firstly placing an order as we will not be able to process any orders in person for the safety of customers and staff. Our showroom and yard will remain closed off to the public aside from designated collection zones. Our full range of products will be available as our stocks allows.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused during this time when we have to operate a reduced service but we hope you apperciate the service we are able to offer.
Interim opening hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm for the foreseeable future.

Yard & Warehouse Operative positions - Greenock Branch
2 Yard operative roles at our Greenock branch.
An opportunity has arisen within our branch network for 1 full time Yard Operative and 1 part-time Yard Operative. The successful candidate will ideally have experience either as a Yard Operative or a Warehouse Operative within a Building Supplies company but this is not essential. It is an advantage to have experience with forklifts as well as knowledge of building materials.
The sucessful candidate will have a pleasant manner when dealing with customers and colleagues and will be a good team member within our busy environment. Good communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
Loading customer vehicles
Loading and unloading company vehicles
Loading and unloading supplier vehicles
Qualifications and Skills
Forklift licence or experience is an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of timber and building materials is an advantage but not essential.
1 x Full-time 46 hours
1 x Part-time 25+ hours
Regular full-time and part-time hours offered
Protective clothing and uniform provided

3rd May 2018: M&J Staff Charity Policy Introduced

30th April 2018: Landscaping Brands
We have now widened our stock landscaping brands to include Bradstone, Marshalls, Stonemarket, Cemex and Tobermore.
M&J are also now holding 30mm stunning Artificial Grass in stock with over 300m2 at any given time.
